This is perfect course for chemical engineering student and also upcoming future is on energy side so course subjects is very helpful for student who finding scope in energy. one recommendation from my side University can also add more elective subjects like Solar, wind, semiconductor and photovoltaic systems it is very useful.

I'm an international student in this course, and honestly, I think I made a really good decision by choosing the Chemical and Energy Engineering (CEE) program. I had my bachelor's in chemical engineering, then worked for a year as a process engineer in my home country, and only after that did I apply. So I had a general idea of what I’d be studying—and that helped me a lot when things got intense.
Most of the subjects are really well taught and manageable, even if your previous major wasn’t chemical engineering. But one thing I’d definitely recommend: make sure you have a solid background in thermodynamics and calculus. You'll need both of them more than you expect. Be prepared for a lot of calculus-based problems, seriously, a lot.
The campuses are nice! Not all of them are super modern, but most have been renovated and are fully functional. Plus, most buildings have elevators, which is great. The usual German issue with heating and air conditioning applies here too.
Lecturers are, for the most part, very helpful and open to questions. Just don’t rely too much on emails it’s much easier to get help if you ask them in person. I’ve learned that face-to-face conversations get you much further in this uni.
My biggest tip for anyone thinking of joining this course: be aware that you might need an extra semester to finish everything. There are a lot of subjects, and most of them only give you 5 credit points max. Since you need 90 credits before starting your thesis, the workload per semester can be heavy. It’s totally normal to take a bit longer, and honestly, it’s worth taking the time if it helps you understand things properly.
Overall, it's a challenging but rewarding program, and if you're ready to put in the effort (and drink a lot of coffee), you'll learn a ton and come out well-prepared for real-world work in chemical or energy industries.

Es ist halt Medizin, da ist ganz klar, dass man dafür auch bereit sein muss, seine Tage in der Bibliothek zu verbringen. Es macht jedoch sehr viel Spaß, die meisten Dozenten und Professoren geben sich sehr viel Mühe und sind super nett, und es herrscht grundsätzlich eine freundlich und konkurrenzlose Stimmung auf dem Campus.

Ausgezeichnete Universität mit toller Studienatmosphäre, studentenfreundlichen Professoren und alles fühlt sich hier wohl.

Es macht viel Spaß, isr aber sehr dozentenabhängig

Generell ist das Studium gut. Jedoch wünscht man sich manchmal eine andere Strukturierung.
