The Master Biosciences program at the University of Würzburg offers students the opportunity to specialize in various fields of biosciences. These programs are designed to provide tailor-made curricula based on individual interests, allowing students to become experts in their chosen area.
The program covers a wide range of topics, including cell biology, biochemistry, neurobiology, molecular genetics, evolution, ecology, bioinformatics, metabolomics, and proteomics. Students will gain an understanding of behavior, neuron function, mechanisms of microbial infection, parasitology, tumor development, and tissue regeneration.
During the Master program, students will participate in ongoing projects within leading research groups at the University of Würzburg or partner universities. This hands-on experience allows them to contribute to cutting-edge research. Graduates may also continue their research in a subsequent doctoral program.
