The EnvEuro program is an international two-year MSc program in Environmental Science (120 ECTS) that includes studies at two of the four partner universities. The program focuses on the interactions between land use and the environment, with the aqueous phase at its core. Water quality is largely determined by the composition, properties, management and pollutant loads of soils and the atmosphere. Water is the main carrier of pollutants in the terrestrial environment and connects to the atmospheric and aquatic environments, as well as the biosphere.
The MSc program aims to provide candidates who can work professionally with soil, water and biodiversity in an environmental context related to the use of natural resources, based on insights into European ecosystems and knowledge of current European environmental management. The program offers different specializations and is attractive for students interested in management and policy, as well as those inclined towards a natural science approach focusing on process and system functioning, process dynamics, monitoring and modeling. All students will start with a common introduction to European environmental practices, including legislation, regulation, monitoring/data collection and policy.
The MSc program is offered by four partner universities:
The program consists of 4 semester packages, each with a workload of 30 ECTS (basic semester package/BSP, two advanced semester packages/ASPs and a thesis). During the MSc program, all students will study at two different partner universities, and at least one ASP (30 ECTS) must be completed outside the home university. The thesis work must be assigned to one of the universities where an ASP has been taken. Students are registered at their chosen home university and also at the host university when studying there.
This study program is taught in English.
