The 4-semester Master programme in German Business Culture and International Management is designed for students seeking an introduction to German culture and language, alongside international business and management principles. It is suited for individuals interested in management positions within international organizations and who aim to be effective in the global business environment. The program is taught in English and welcomes an international student cohort.


The program aims to provide students with knowledge and skills in integrating complexity and change into management and decision-making processes. Graduates will gain competence in core areas of international management, enabling them to adopt a global perspective. Key skills include negotiation and decision-making, which are essential for operating in a global business context. The program also fosters holistic thinking and the ability to understand relationships between issues affecting an organization. Furthermore, graduates will be equipped to bridge cultural differences within an organization's activities and relationships.


The study process includes:



  • 1st Semester: Understanding Germany - Business, Culture & Language


  • 2nd Semester: Professional Studies - Expertise and specializations through elective subjects


  • 3rd Semester: Semester abroad - Studies in a comparable study program at a foreign partner university


  • 4th Semester: Master Thesis - Completion of a master thesis, preferably in cooperation with an international partner.
