The Master of Arts programme "Eurythmy in English" is designed for eurythmists seeking career advancement, skill enhancement, creative challenges, and deeper research knowledge. It offers two pathways: education/social field and eurythmy therapy.
Master of Arts - Eurythmy Education/Social Art
This pathway is an online course spanning two years, with the final year dedicated to a research project and thesis. Participants will expand their skills, build a network, and engage with experienced guest teachers. The course focuses on individual eurythmy questions and practice within a professional context. The next course will begin in March 2026.
Master of Arts - Eurythmy Therapy
This pathway is a face-to-face course at Emerson College in England. It covers professional and therapeutic skills for becoming a eurythmy therapist, along with research tools. The two-year course includes five four-week blocks with experts and two online weeks of lectures. The final year involves practice placement hours and a case study thesis. The next course with the Focus Eurythmy Therapy will begin in August 2024.
Course Contents & Structure
The Master's program aims to deepen eurythmical capacities, foster skills in education and art, and develop qualitative research abilities. Students will attend Master Classes, become proficient in research methods, and enhance writing and presentation skills. Core aspects include individual assignments, practical training, artistic development, exploring eurythmy in a contemporary context, and building a creative relationship to language.
Applicants need relevant eurythmical practice and a Eurythmy diploma. English language proficiency is required. The application process is online.
