The Faculty of Economics at LMU offers two Master of Science programs: Economics and Quantitative Economics. Both programs aim to provide students with a solid foundation for professional or academic careers in economics.



The Master of Science in Economics (MSc Economics) is designed to equip students with analytical and logical problem-solving skills, deepen their understanding of economics, and expose them to current research. It is suitable for students seeking an international career as an applied economist.



The Master of Science in Quantitative Economics (MQE) is a research-oriented program that prepares students for research-focused positions or top Ph.D. programs. It is designed for students seeking a quantitatively challenging program for an advanced research career.
