Masterstudium Climate Change and Societal TransformationUniversität für Bodenkultur Wien
Kurzbeschreibung & Facts
Climate Change and Societal Transformation offers an inter- and transdisciplinary Master's program with a systems science approach to the global climate crisis. It integrates different perspectives: 1) a physical understanding of the climate system, its processes and drivers, as well as a fundamental understanding of climate change and its impacts, 2) a socio-ecological analysis of the drivers, actors and impacts of climate change, as well as potential solutions, and 3) transformative approaches for a sustainable and just society, with explicit consideration of global North-South dynamics.
The program imparts fundamental knowledge about the climate system and climate change as a physical phenomenon, an environmental threat, and a social and political crisis, along with associated strategies and solutions.
The modularly organized study program is offered in English.
