I am currently completing my first semester at Fachhochschule Dortmund, and overall my experience has been positive. The program has a strong practical orientation, and the course content is clearly structured with a focus on real-world application. Some modules are demanding, especially in terms of workload and self-organization, but they feel relevant rather than purely theoretical. The lecturers are generally approachable and bring practical experience into their teaching. Organization can be challenging at times, particularly at the beginning of the semester, but it improves once you understand the systems and processes. Overall, I feel that the program provides a solid foundation and realistic preparation for professional work.
