Studying for a Master’s in IT at TH OWL is defined by a high-tech "family" atmosphere where you are treated as an individual rather than a number. The program is specifically tailored for those aiming at leadership in Industry 4.0, blending rigorous modules like Advanced Algorithms and Real-Time Systems with mandatory Management and Business Administration training. While the Lemgo campus is located in a quiet, historic town with a slower pace of life, it serves as a massive research powerhouse—housing the SmartFactoryOWL and Fraunhofer labs—which directly connects you to high-paying "Hidden Champion" companies. Students highlight that while the exams are challenging and the town is small, the university's top-tier industry rankings and the availability of fellowships (up to €50,000) make it one of the most practical and financially sound paths for an international IT career in Germany.
