The Master's program in International Management at Fulda University of Applied Sciences is designed to prepare students for management roles in international enterprises. The program covers international business management, supplemented by legal and economic knowledge relevant to globalized business environments.


The program aims to equip students with the skills to manage enterprises and projects globally, addressing divisional, leadership, and intercultural challenges. It emphasizes interdisciplinary and intercultural thinking, enabling graduates to work flexibly across various business functions.


Core Content Areas:



  • Business Administration ("Divisional Skills")


  • Leadership Skills (methodological, social, intercultural, and communicative competences)


  • Relationship between management, entrepreneurship, innovation, and change processes


  • Essential legal and economics framework conditions for management tasks in international enterprises



Curriculum Structure:



  • First Semester: Focuses on deepening business knowledge in Human Resources, Marketing, and Responsible Business Management with an international specialization. Includes an introduction to quantitative methods, international economic law, and international economic relations.


  • Second Semester: Builds knowledge in corporate management, risk, innovation, and strategic management. Develops social competences in management and communication.


  • Third Semester: Includes a Business Simulation where students manage an internationally active high-tech company and the Master's thesis on an international management topic.



The program offers opportunities for a study period abroad through ERASMUS partnerships and collaborations with universities worldwide. The department's placement office supports students in finding internships in Germany or abroad.


Admission Requirements:



  • A university degree in Business Sciences (including Engineering and Management and Business IT) totaling 180 ECTS credits.


  • English skills at level B2.



Career Opportunities:


Graduates will have professional, social, and communication competences for demanding tasks in international management. They can work flexibly in various operational functions and are prepared for responsible management tasks at enterprise or department head level.

The course is really good, exactly the way i wanted it to be, few subjects I believe aren't really perfect fit for me but still it's all good, professor are really nice and helpful. I specially like library it's really great to have self study really quite wnr peaceful. Overall really satisfied with city and university in general. Their are ocean of opportunities to meet people from different cultural and countries, only improve is making international department more helpful.
