The MBA program "Aviation and Tourism Management" is a postgraduate, application-oriented master's program aimed at professionals, particularly those from the aviation and tourism sectors. It covers general management areas such as strategy, innovation, transformation, leadership, and communication. The program provides complex and in-depth knowledge based on current research, enhancing graduates' academic skills and enabling them to apply learning methods to keep up with technological and academic advancements, potentially leading to doctoral studies. Graduates will be pioneers in implementing new methods and technologies.



A unique aspect of the program is that it allows entry based on work experience and qualifications, even without a prior academic degree. It is also one of the few English-language programs offered by the university.



Graduates can pursue careers as consultants or experts in the aviation and tourism industries, advising companies on change processes and general management issues, and providing strategic knowledge and problem-solving skills. They are also qualified for leadership and management positions involving corporate strategy and sustainable business development. The program equips them with creative thinking, business acumen, and an innovative approach to transform business ideas and products into marketable offerings.



The part-time study course is divided into four semesters (24 months). Teaching takes place in two 11-day blocks per semester at the House of Logistics and Mobility (HOLM), a campus of the University of Applied Sciences close to the Frankfurt International Airport.



The program is designed together with well-known industry leaders like DFS, Fraport and MUC Airport. Students will receive a globally recognized IATA training certificate. Seminars will develop rhetoric skills as well as personality and networking with the industry's renowned lobbyists. The program enhances knowledge & skills in general corporate management such as strategies, business development, transformational leadership while focusing on the particular requirements of the aviation and tourism industry.
