The MBA program in Digital Business Management at the Technische Hochschule Ingolstadt enables participants to systematically qualify as professionals for digitization tasks in management. The program equips participants with the skills to actively utilize the rapidly advancing societal, technological, and economic changes as specialists and managers, and to systematically develop the professionalism, organizational culture, and maturity of their professional environment.


The program covers a range of topics across four semesters:



  • 1st Semester: Selected aspects, instruments, tasks, and processes of Digital Business Management, Methodological competence, Self- and social competence in the workplace.


  • 2nd Semester: Operative Management, Strategic Management, Leadership.


  • 3rd Semester: Operative Digital Business Management, Strategic Digital Business Management, Digital Business Methods.


  • 4th Semester: Artificial Intelligence, Digital Technologies and Trends, Project.


  • 5th Semester: Master's Thesis.



Graduates receive a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree.


To be admitted to the MBA program, a first domestic or foreign university degree with at least 210 ECTS credit points is required. Furthermore, at least one year of relevant qualified professional experience is required. Relevant qualified professional experience is particularly present in activities in the IT and digitization area, in project or business management, as well as in the management or strategic orientation of companies.
