The Department of Innovative Technologies (DTI) at SUPSI offers specialized programs under the umbrella of Advanced Studies. These programs lead to recognized qualifications at the cantonal and federal level, specifically:



  • Master of Advanced Studies (MAS): Professionalizing courses typically lasting two to three years, designed for career development and linked to recognized professional experience. These programs require the completion of 60 ECTS credits.


  • Diploma of Advanced Studies (DAS): Professionalization courses specializing in a specific sector or field of activity. These courses may sometimes be integrated into MAS programs and range from 30 to 59 ECTS credits.


  • Certificate of Advanced Studies (CAS): Courses that provide timely responses to professional development needs. They can form part of DAS and MAS programs, with credit values ranging from 10 to 29 ECTS.


  • Short Certificate of Advanced Studies (SAS): Short qualification courses aimed at senior professionals who want to face new challenges through dialogue between peers and experts. They release ECTS credits that can be used in Advanced Studies courses, from 3 to 6 ECTS.



The DTI offers various courses, including CAS in Project Management, Business Process Management, Privacy and DPO, Big Data Analytics and Machine Learning, Risk Management, Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery, Game Design, AI Security and Investigation, Cybersecurity and Digital Forensics, and SAS in ITIL®4 Strategic Leader and Progettare e gestire un'attività e-commerce.
