The page describes the organ study program at the Hochschule fĂĽr Musik und Theater Hamburg (HfMT). The Instrumentalmusik program aims to equip students with the skills for professional and artistic mastery of the organ repertoire in solo, chamber music, and orchestral settings. It also covers pedagogical foundations and versatile communication skills, as well as instrumental didactics and methodology for instrumental teaching.


The Master's program focuses on developing abilities to position instrumental music with new conceptual ideas in musical life, based on a high artistic level.


The standard duration of the Instrumentalmusik program is 8 semesters, while the Master Instrumentalmusik program is 4 semesters.
