The master's program in Finance, Accounting, and Taxation (FACTS) at the Freie Universität Berlin offers in-depth studies in finance, accounting (financial accounting, managerial accounting, and auditing), taxation, and related fields in business economics and law. The program is academically based and application-oriented.



Graduates of the FACTS program have opportunities for employment in industrial, auditing, or consulting companies and institutions. The program also provides a foundation for completing a doctoral dissertation.



Admission requirements include a bachelor's degree in economics or law with a minimum of 40 credit points in business taxation, business and public finance, managerial and finance accounting, and legal areas related to economics. Additionally, applicants need a minimum of 5 credit points in microeconomics and a minimum of 18 credit points in mathematics (minimum 6), statistics (minimum 6), and economic computer science. Proof of English language skills (level B2 CEFR or equivalent) and the ability to conduct supervised work in the areas mentioned above are also required.



The program starts in the winter semester and has a duration of 4 semesters. The language of instruction is English and German.



Please note that students do not pay tuition fees, but semester fees and contributions are charged each semester.
