The BSc in Data Science for Responsible Business is a 4-year undergraduate program that combines excellence in data science, artificial intelligence, and management with a strong ethical and sustainable dimension. It is designed to train hybrid profiles capable of driving digital transformation responsibly. Upon completion, graduates can enroll in master's programs or start a career in rapidly evolving sectors.

The program aims to equip students with cutting-edge technical expertise in data and AI, develop dual technical and managerial skills for projects with a positive impact, and foster an international perspective through an exchange semester and English-taught courses.

The curriculum is structured over four years:

• Year 1: Focuses on Mathematics & Computer Science Fundamentals and Fundamentals of Responsible Business, including Calculus, Probability, Computer Programming, Algorithmics, Statistics, Introduction to Data Analysis, Introduction to Management, Introduction to Economics, and Sustainable Project Management.
• Year 2: Covers Data Science, Technologies of AI, Business Practice, and Corporate Social Responsibility, with modules like Numerical Methods for Optimization, Statistical Learning, Machine Learning for Business, CSR & AI for Society, AI Culture, Big Data, Deep Learning, Agile Software Engineering, Web & AI Tools, Marketing, and Managerial Finance.
• Year 3: Delves into Advance Language Models, Modern Trends in AI, Digital Business, and Corporate Laws, featuring AI Responsible Mission 1, Natural Language Processing, Modern Trends in AI, NLP & NLU for Business, Digital Advances for Business, Digital Marketing and Personalization, Deep Learning Projects, Organizational Behaviour & Strategy, Responsible Algorithmics, and Corporate Law.
• Year 4: Concentrates on Research Mission, Tech Seminars, Innovation, and Human & Machine Cognition, including AI Responsible Mission 2, Tech Workshop Series, Research Mission - Techno Watch, Managing Innovation, Machine & Human Cognition, and Licence Thesis.

The program offers specialized tracks for students interested in AI Responsible Missions, Data Scientist projects in partnership with companies, Research projects with academic tutors, or Entrepreneurship supported by incubators.

Graduates can pursue roles such as AI Project Leader, Data Scientist, Data Science Consultant, AI Consultant, Data Architect, Data Analyst, Ethical Data and AI Compliance Manager, Data Engineer, or Data Manager in various sectors like tech, banking, industry, e-commerce, energy, and telecommunications.

The program is delivered in English and takes place on the Lyon campus with an international experience component. It is a full-time program with the next intake in September 2027.
